Location: Durban
We are currently on a search for an Associate-R&D Process to assist R&D engineers with minor design work by generating 2D drawings (3D will be advantageous). Conduct R&D administration duties and assist service department with any engineering requests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
R&D Admin. Duties
Distribution of Engineering Change Notices, Concessions and ISIR documents.
Filing and scanning of R&D documents
Updating of meeting minutes.
Assisting product engineers with prototype building & pre-pilot units.
Assist with line trials of new products.
Conduct BOM audits of new & existing products
Assist with fitment tests.
Generate Cad and 2d drawings
SAP duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
B Tech Mechanical Engineering. (Min. 2 years of experience)
Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
SAP Knowledge - Well be an advantage
CAD & 2D Drawing Knowledge
